Rafael, Ramona, and the kitchen.
Oasis Cuban Cafe is the Paulino family’s restaurant. Rafael and Ramona came out of Miami’s Cuban kitchens, ran a pizza shop in Kissimmee, and opened this room in Longwood so Central Florida could sit down to the food they already knew by heart.
The recipes are Rafael’s, taken from the old plates and adjusted until regulars started asking for them by name: lechón with mojo, ropa vieja, vaca frita, arroz con pollo, a medianoche after work.
You will also find the Mexican side of the menu — fajitas, enchiladas, a burrito supremo — and a bar that knows a mojito from a michelada. Come for lunch. Stay if the sangria is on the table.
We want the plate, the pour, and the welcome to be the reason you come back.

- Yes, for gatherings from a small family table to groups past a hundred. Catering needs two days’ notice.

- Cocktails are buy one, get one free every day from 4 pm to 8 pm.
- What should I order?
- Start with mariquitas or croquetas. Then lechón asado, ropa vieja, or the Cuban sandwich. Finish with tres leches and a cortadito.
